EXPO 2020 : Full Run Technical Placements

EXPO 2020 presented a significant challenge to THE Production TEAM in both scale and size, all whilst dealing with a global pandemic. As the largest ever event held in the UAE, we were tasked with providing multiple roles for several clients pertinent to the build, show and daily operations of various Pavilions within EXPO City.

• Audio Engineers
• Lighting Engineers
• General AV Engineers

We carried out the entire recruitment process for our clients, including the interviewing, vetting and onboarding. The recruitment process began in 2020 when we were able to accumulate a large database of experienced entertainment and production technicians in preparation for meeting the clients’ requirements and onboarding the candidates. Utilising the experienced of our recruitment and operations team along with the correct recruitment tools, we were able to source highly experienced technicians.

Once recruited, the candidates’ documentation was processed and onboarded in accordance with the contract requirements of each client.

We also managed all aspects of the HR process, this included arranging work permits; registration with either the WPS or Wage Protection Programme; compliance to Expo 2020’s Worker Welfare Policy and managing payroll so that their salaries were scheduled and paid at the end of each month.
